  5. World Vision to house PSU interns
The World Vision Development Foundation, Inc. and the Pangasinan State University forged partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement for internship pursuits of PSUnians.
PSU President, Dr. Elbert M. Galas and World Vision’s Program Manager, Ms. Alma V. Acub signed the MOA Wednesday, February 28.
In stipulation, World Vision serves as ‘Host Training Establishment’ and supporting PSU’s internship program, it will provide the students course-related work assignments and tasks to expose students in actual and practical experiences.

“We would like to thank you [World Vision Development Foundation, Inc.] for this collaboration. As you all know internship programs are meticulously scrutinized and securitized in the university because other than the skills they might learn in an agency, the welfare of our students is our top priority,” Dr. Galas said.

The said institution bannered the philosophy as a global Christian humanitarian organization devoted to improving the lives of children, their families and their communities.

During the MOA ceremony, the Vice President for Research, Extension and Innovation (REI) Dr. Razeale G. Resultay, also signified gratitude for the world vision as it has been a partner agency in extension programs in the university.

“We have seen the potential of the organization and the capability to hone future professionals because we have proven its characters towards volunteerism and community development in various extension programs in PSU,” Dr. Resultay added.

Fostering further partnership, PSU and World Vision are also soon to ignite collaboration in extension programs through the university’s Communiversidad Outreach and Volunteer Program.
