  5. Bayambang Cluster concludes 44th PSUR...

A total of 1,488 graduates from Bayambang Campus or Cluster D completed the four batches of the 44th Commencement Exercises for the undergraduate level of the Pangasinan State University (PSU) in the afternoon of August 31.

Inspiring the graduates was Senator Maria Imelda Josefa R. Marcos who served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker, represented by the 3rd District Representative of Pangasinan Maria Rachel J. Arenas.

“Whether you are from the fields of Science, Education, Social Studies, Nursing, Business or Information Technology, each one of you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our society. Your dedication to learning, commitment to excellence and passion for your chosen disciplines will contribute greatly to the progress of our nation,” in her letter, Sen. Marcos stated.
Rep. Arenas, in her own message, also shared five things to the graduates that will shape the journey and will help them navigate the uncharted waters ahead.

“May limang bagay lang po sana akong gustong sabihin at sana’y tandaan ng bawat magsisipagtapos – embrace change, resilience is key, never stop learning, empathy and connection, and follow your passion,” the Congresswoman said.

University President Dr. Elbert M. Galas also encouraged the new members of alumni to keep compassion for people and strengthen sense of patriotism.

“Mga minamahal kong nagsipagtapos, sana ay maging malinaw sa inyo ang biyaya ng edukasyong inyong nakamtan at kung paano ninyo ito gagamitin sa pagpasok ninyo sa napiling larangan. Ipakita ninyo ang malasakit at dedikasyon sa anumang gawain o hanapbuhay na ipagkakatiwala sa inyo,” President Galas added.
Extending their greetings were the country’s First Lady Marie Louise “Liza” Araneta Marcos, Chairman for the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) J. Prospero E. De Vera III and Sen. Francis Joseph “Chiz” Guevara Escudero through video messages.

Meanwhile, other University Officials including the Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs Dr. Manolito C. Manuel; VP for Research, Extension, Innovation, and Gender and Development (REIGn) Office Dr. Razeale G. Resultay and the sixth PSU President Dr. Dexter R.
