Fostering quality service to the public, the Pangasinan State University and the Pangasinan Councilor’s League (PCL) – Pangasinan Chapter signed a Memorandum of Agreement on September 7, 2023 at the Ylang-Ylang Hall of PSU Golden Lion Hall.
The said partnership aimed to strengthen collaboration in providing, promoting and advancing excellent and quality public service that will enhance the capabilities and competence of elected public officials.
PCL, a legitimate local government organization that is sanctioned by the Securities and Exchange Commission and has been granted accreditation by the Department of Interior and Local Government, commits to be proactive and collaborative partner in equitable nation-building with its objectives of establishing a nationwide forum for discussion of matters involving local legislative concerns, formulating, implementing and coordinating programs, projects and activities beneficial to League members and/or the general welfare of the public and to establish foundations for the benefit of the members.
PSU President Dr. Elbert Galas inked the MOA with the PCL-Pangasinan Chapter President, Hon. Arthur Celeste Jr.
The Vice President for Research, Extension, Innovation and GAD and incumbent OIC Vice President for Quality Assurance Dr. Razeale G. Resultay, Director for Planning Dr. Madlyn DV. Tingco and other PSU campus’ officials were also present at the signing ceremony to show support to the newly formed alliance.
This University’s effort is an evidence to its commitment to give excellent education and satisfied services to the national and worldwide society, as such, PSU consistently builds notable alliances.
